What is it?

Community Lunches provides both a delivered lunch service and an in person lunch service every Monday, including bank holidays and school holidays. We provide hot, nutritious meals including classic comfort meals such as beef stew, cottage pie and a tasty vegetarian hotpot.

Who is it for?

The Community Lunches are made for our older and/ or vulnerable residents, providing hot meals for a suggested donation of £3.50 for delivered and £5 for an eat in meal with dessert and a hot drink. We aim to provide a safe space with our eat in meals where locals can relax away from the crowds. Our regular crowd of residents come along to enjoy each other’s company and make new friends, creating a lovely and growing luncheon club.  Please help us to reach all the community by letting neighbours know about the lunches if you feel they may enjoy them and please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us to find out more!

How do I book my lunch?

Lunches can be booked until the Thursday before through the Community Hub. Call 015242 36404, Monday to Friday 10 am to 1 pm.
